Signs on the street read, “NO PRICING. All donations go to Together Ministry Center.” As people came to our moving sale, it was obvious they were puzzled.

Recently, a friend from the trailer park texted to find out if we were having our Monday food distribution. I had Panera bread/baked goods to offer her and invited her over to get what she needed. When she arrived, she immediately began to cry.

In October 2025, Together Ministry Center began ministry at our newest property, Hebron, in Byhalia, Mississippi. Spanning over eight acres, Hebron includes a home, two additional buildings, fishing ponds, an in-ground pool, and a wooded walking trail around the property’s perimeter.

Together Ministry Center has been at Candlelight in Olive Branch for over twelve years. Two on-site trailers provide space for Sunday worship, outreach events, Victory Plus Educational Center (VPEC) homeschool, and a variety of community gatherings.

June was a rich month of joy, which we shared with our summer campers, student leaders, and community. At the end of the month we had a “joy distribution day” of help and hope in our neighborhood.

On Valentine’s Day, 2024, we decided to take God’s “kingdom love” to the streets. Each of our homeschool children picked a favorite scripture and put it on a self-illustrated bookmark. Then they got a Bible, tucked the bookmark inside, and prayerfully chose a person whom they wanted to give both Bible and bookmark.

Blessings to you in this new year, 2024. I am so thankful we are here. The snow is a stunning reminder of God’s promises and His relentless commitment to His people, wayward as we can be!

What a gloriously rich, full October we had, enjoying fall colors and cooler temperatures. Carving pumpkins was a highlight for us. We enjoy getting the slime out and putting the light in! A prayer we repeated over and over again this fall was that we would “fall” in love with Jesus, choosing to make Him our first love.

Recently, in the midst of an unforeseen struggle, we had a beautiful opportunity to love “in deed.” Repeated water line repairs in our community necessitated that water be cut off. When we had no water during homeschool hours, we couldn’t wash our hands or the dishes.

Water balloons made the hot summer days a little more bearable! I am eager to share some of what has been going on over the past months. At last! Life is full.

Our FIRST LOVE for Jesus is meant to be an unquenchable fire. Jesus takes our struggles and chaos, and by the power of His love, He turns chaos into victory. His victorious love casts out fear. And it is His desire to make our love His love, that we would relentlessly, faithfully, joyfully pursue Him.

As we welcome 2023, we acknowledge a profound hunger in our hearts to see the Lord make Himself known yet more and more. It is our joy to put His incomparable love on display.  May the proof of His love be irresistible to those we serve! Nothing in this world compares.

TMC has had a beautiful fall season, with so many rich and worthwhile challenges that I haven’t been able to write in quite awhile. But oh, my heart is so full.  This current blog is inspired by a powerful, stirring scripture (Revelation 5) and a worship song based on that scripture: “Is He Worthy” by Andrew Peterson. 

TO-DO: 1. “I delight to do your will, O God. Your law is engraved upon my heart.”Psalm 40:82. “My food is to do the will of Him who sent Me, and to accomplish His work.”  John 4:34 Ahhhhh! What a relief, what a delight, what a treat it is to do His will and His work. Such peace and comfort is mine, even as I face the “giants” of daily demands.

I wasn’t sure what God was up to when I began hearing the word “more” echo in my heart. But… wow! We are seeing God reveal His awesome “immeasurably more” over and over again. In fact, we recently had shirts made because we are so excited about it!

At Victory this spring we once again watched the miraculous sequence of events as live caterpillars turned into chrysalides… and then chrysalides turned into butterflies! What a delight to watch the butterflies emerge and then take flight!

What do we have to say about Easter if we don’t start with the cross? Without the cross, we have no death, and if no death, no resurrection. So for believers in Jesus who know that “Easter is coming,” the cross has become a sign of victory!

On January 5, 2022, an icy cold morning, I was on my early morning prayer run when I looked up at the sky and saw a cross. I always pay attention to the messages God writes in the sky, so I captured it in a photograph on my phone, and then continued on my run.

It was a beautiful Thursday morning when, for the first time ever, we cut through the opening in the trailer park fence and took off together for the track at the city park. We were planning to play some games on the field at the track. But when we arrived on site, we met a homeschool coach who was also there for the first time this season.
