THE POWER OF THE CROSS
What do we have to say about Easter if we don’t start with the cross? Without the cross, we have no death, and if no death, no resurrection. So for believers in Jesus who know that “Easter is coming,” the cross has become a sign of victory!
ANOTHER RUN…
On January 5, 2022, an icy cold morning, I was on my early morning prayer run when I looked up at the sky and saw a cross. I always pay attention to the messages God writes in the sky, so I captured it in a photograph on my phone, and then continued on my run.
RUN WITH IT!
It was a beautiful Thursday morning when, for the first time ever, we cut through the opening in the trailer park fence and took off together for the track at the city park. We were planning to play some games on the field at the track. But when we arrived on site, we met a homeschool coach who was also there for the first time this season.
A Beautiful Belonging
Almost fourteen years ago, when I realized my bilateral breast cancer diagnosis meant major surgery followed by chemotherapy, one particular verse of scripture was highlighted in my heart. This verse gave me supernatural comfort and peace: "Do not fear, for I have redeemed you. I have called you by name; you are Mine!" (Isaiah 43:1).
Let There Be Light
TMC is brimming with life. At various times during October, all our children had the opportunity to carve pumpkins. They did the carving, and they made quite a mess. BUT, in pumpkin-carving and in life, much can be learned from the process. And the outcomes are so worth it.
There Is More
Almost nine years ago, the time came for us to go out and meet some of our neighbors at CandleLight, a community located a scant mile and a half from our home. We started by knocking on doors, simply asking people if they had any needs, physically or spiritually. But God had so much more in mind.
