Hebron: A New Home for Community and Ministry

In October 2025, Together Ministry Center began ministry at our newest property, Hebron, in Byhalia, Mississippi. Spanning over eight acres, Hebron includes a home, two additional buildings, fishing ponds, an in-ground pool, and a wooded walking trail around the property’s perimeter. It is already a house of worship, a refuge from life’s storms, and a place where community is nurtured and strengthened. The presence of the Lord is palpable here, and every gathering reminds us of Isaiah 6:3: “Holy, holy, holy is the Lord Almighty; the whole earth is full of His glory.”

Hebron is alive with activity. Young people and families come to swim, fish, play cornhole and disc golf, carve pumpkins, paint, sing, and make music—building joyful memories while sharing life together. Our regular gatherings include:

  • The Refuge: Worship and prayer community gathering on the 1st and 3rd Sundays of each month, 4:30–6:30 PM. All ages are welcome; no childcare provided.

  • Youth Fellowship: On the 2nd and 4th Sundays after worship, young people join us for lunch and afternoon activities from 1:00–3:30 PM to foster friendships and deepen community.

The vision for Hebron is bold and wide-ranging:

  • Experiential learning programs, using the outdoor environment for education and growth

  • Recreational outreach, including swimming, fishing, sports, and games

  • Creative arts programming for all ages

  • A community garden and chickens in the red barn

  • An outreach/events pavilion for camps, retreats, and gatherings

  • Repurposing the outdoor building loft as an “upper room” for prayer and reflection

  • Small efficiencies for temporary shelter or retreat housing

At Hebron, as at Candlelight, Together Ministry Center follows Jesus’ example—loving people where they are and meeting both physical and spiritual needs. Emergency relief, food and clothing distribution, mentoring, arts, recreation, and spiritual care all come together to strengthen individuals and families in meaningful ways.

Hebron is more than a property—it is a living vision, a sanctuary where hearts are restored, community is built, and God’s glory is revealed. Everyone is welcome to participate in our gatherings, and if you would like to sponsor an event or join a worship gathering, please fill out this form or contact Karen.
