● Our Work
Why TMC?
Our mission is to foster lasting relationships, provide hope found in the Gospel and extend help to the underserved in DeSoto and Marshall County, MS.
● TMC’s Mission
Our Purpose
We support individuals and families in crisis with compassionate assistance that restores stability and hope.
We provide group events, activities and programs that inspire community connection and care.
We equip children and youth through personalized instruction, mentorship, and experiential learning for whole-child growth.
We cultivate Christ-centered spaces for worship, prayer, and discipleship that encourage restoration and lasting faith.
● Provision
Crisis & Practical Assistance
In times of crisis, people may request financial assistance from TMC for rent, utilities, temporary shelter, medical bills, or transportation. We also distribute food through Candlelight and share in-kind donations such as clothing, furniture, and household items across DeSoto and Marshall counties to help stabilize households and restore hope.
● Connection
Food & Basic Needs Distribution
Together Ministry Center creates opportunities for connection through group events, activities, and programs that foster care and community. Hebron, our ministry property in Byhalia, offers a welcoming space for all ages to gather, worship, play, and build meaningful relationships.
Candlelight in Olive Branch has served as a hub for outreach, worship, and community events for over twelve years, hosting gatherings, celebrations, and activities that bring neighbors together.
● Education
Education & Youth Development
Victory Plus Educational Center (VPEC) offers academic support, tutoring, mentorship, and enrichment for grades 3–10 in a cottage homeschool environment at Candlelight Trailer Park in Olive Branch. Two full-time and two part-time coaches, supported by six dedicated volunteers contributing 50 hours weekly, provide personalized instruction to help young people succeed.
At Hebron, TMC’s ministry property in Byhalia, educational programs are expanding through experiential outdoor learning, camps, creative arts, recreation, and sports—supporting intellectual, creative, social, and spiritual growth for all ages.
● Spiritual Care
Community Worship & Spiritual Care
In all we do at Together Ministry Center—whether at Candlelight, Hebron, or beyond—we seek to love God first and live out that love through generosity toward our neighbors. Worship, prayer, and discipleship anchor our ministry and create space for community, accountability, and growth. Candlelight serves as a welcoming place for worship and fellowship, while Hebron offers a refuge where gatherings nurture faith and relationships.
As our ministry grows, Hebron continues to expand opportunities for spiritual engagement through camps, retreats, and outdoor worship that invite restoration and connection.
“Being at Victory has transformed me. There’s no doubt that worship and prayer every day at VPEC, along with being so mindful of the impact I have on the children around me, has taught me much about living righteously. It has all been God! Jesus has done it. This is a gift. It is a privilege to be here at Victory!”
