“Unplanned programming” yields such unanticipated and sweet dividends. John and I were at the Together Ministry Center RV organizing children’s books when we heard the pitter-patter of little feet outside — followed by a knocking at the door. One of our young friends saw our car outside and stopped by. Then, seeing the books she asked, “May I look at a book?”
So we sat down on the rug, and together (I helped just a little bit) we read Eric Carle’s Brown Bear, Brown Bear, What Do You See? What a fun book. And what a great question! Oh, it matters what we see! Every day, it matters….
What do you see? I see Jesus in the precious child smiling at me.
